Tankman

Tankman (also known as Captain) is the leader of the Tankmen army and the final opponent of the current base game. Created by JohnnyUtah for the Newgrounds animated series Tankmen, he appears as the Week 7 antagonist. His week features fully animated cutscenes and is widely considered the most polished and challenging content in the game.

Appearance

Tankman wears military gear — a dark gray helmet with a black visor, a bulletproof vest, combat pants, and military boots. His face is always obscured by his helmet's visor, showing only a simple white face with basic features (a nod to the simplistic art style of the original Tankmen animations). He stands with a commanding posture, often gesturing with a pistol.

Personality

Tankman is crude, foul-mouthed, sarcastic, and intimidating. He makes inappropriate jokes and casually threatens violence. Despite his comedic dialogue, he's a genuine threat — commanding an entire army of Tankmen soldiers. His interactions with Boyfriend are laced with dark humor and dismissive insults.

Story Role

Week 7 takes place on a post-apocalyptic battlefield where Boyfriend and Girlfriend encounter Tankman and his army. The week features fully animated cutscenes:

• Ugh (Song 1): Tankman confronts Boyfriend and Girlfriend on the battlefield. After some trash talk, he challenges BF to rap. His signature "ugh" vocalization defines the song.
• Guns (Song 2): The battle escalates. Tankman becomes more aggressive, threatening to shoot Boyfriend. The song features intense, rapid-fire sections.
• Stress (Song 3): Tankman orders his soldiers to execute Girlfriend. Pico arrives to save her, fighting the Tankmen army in the background while Boyfriend continues the final rap battle. This is the most action-packed sequence in the game.

Animated Cutscenes

Week 7 is notable for featuring the first fully animated cutscenes in the game. These were animated by PhantomArcade and are rendered in a style that blends FNF's aesthetic with the Tankmen series' look. The cutscenes include:

• Tankman arriving and threatening Boyfriend before "Ugh"
• Tankman raising the stakes before "Guns"
• The dramatic "Stress" intro where Pico saves Girlfriend from execution
