Week 3 — Pico

Week 3 features a tense confrontation with Pico, the iconic Newgrounds character. Set in a dark Philadelphia alleyway, this week represents a notable difficulty spike and introduces some of the game's most beloved tracks. Pico was hired by Daddy Dearest to kill Boyfriend but decides to settle things through music instead.

Stage

The setting is a dark urban alleyway in Philadelphia at night. City buildings loom in the background with windows lit in various colors. A passing train periodically illuminates the scene from behind. The atmosphere is gritty and urban, perfectly matching Pico's street-tough character.

Songs

1

Pico

150 BPM · A hard-hitting opener with aggressive beats. Pico's vocal style is harsher and more staccato than previous opponents, reflecting his intense personality. Introduces faster note patterns and more complex rhythms.
2

Philly Nice

175 BPM · One of the fastest songs to this point. A groovy, bass-driven track set against the Philadelphia skyline. Features quick note transitions and introduces more challenging patterns. A fan-favorite for its catchiness.
3

Blammed

165 BPM · A dynamic finale with multiple sections and a notable color-shifting background effect. Complex note patterns including early instances of jacks and short streams. The background changes colors dramatically during the chorus.

Backstory

Daddy Dearest, still furious at Boyfriend after Week 1, hired Pico — a skilled mercenary and fighter — to assassinate his daughter's boyfriend. However, due to Pico and Boyfriend's past relationship (they are canonically ex-boyfriends), Pico chose to confront BF through a rap battle instead of violence. This decision is significant to the game's lore and shows Pico's complexity as a character.
