Week 5 — Red Snow

Week 5 is the holiday-themed chapter, set during Christmas at a shopping mall. It is unique for being the only week in the base game where BF faces two opponents simultaneously — both Daddy Dearest and Mommy Mearest appear together as a duo for the first two songs. The week takes a dark turn with its third song, Winter Horrorland, which introduces the terrifying Monster (also known as Lemon Demon).

Stage

The stage is a festive shopping mall decorated for Christmas. The environment features Christmas trees, holiday lights, gift displays, and a warm interior glow. Background characters from previous weeks appear as holiday shoppers, creating a crossover atmosphere. For the first two songs, GF stands between her parents while BF faces both of them.

When Winter Horrorland begins, the scene shifts dramatically. The lights dim, the festive atmosphere turns sinister, and Monster appears — a grotesque creature with a lemon-shaped head. Girlfriend appears frightened, and the previously cheery mall becomes an unsettling horror setting.

160 BPM · A faster, more intense holiday jam where the parents push harder. The dual harmonies become more aggressive, and the note patterns ramp up significantly. The song has a confrontational energy beneath its festive surface.

Winter Horrorland

105 BPM · A dramatic tonal shift — this eerie, unsettling track features Monster with distorted, creepy vocals. Despite the slower BPM, the song's patterns are unpredictable and disorienting. The lyrics (visible in game files) describe Monster's sinister intentions toward Girlfriend.

Monster / Lemon Demon

Monster (known by the community as "Lemon Demon") is a mysterious, terrifying creature that appears only in the third songs of Week 2 and Week 5. Unlike other opponents, Monster's motivations are genuinely sinister — the creature wants to harm and consume the main characters. Its songs feature distorted vocals with actual lyrics hidden in the game's files, describing its dark intentions in graphic detail.

Monster is one of only two characters in the base game with lyrical songs (the other being Senpai in Week 6). Its appearance in Winter Horrorland is more elaborate than its Week 2 cameo, with full stage transitions and a more developed visual presence.

  • Week 5 is the only week featuring a dual-opponent format for some of its songs.
  • Characters from previous weeks (including Pico, Skid & Pump, and others) can be seen as background shoppers.
  • BF and GF wear winter outfits during this week — BF has a Santa hat, and GF wears a Christmas outfit.
  • The transition from the cheerful Eggnog to the horror of Winter Horrorland is considered one of the game's most effective tonal shifts.
  • Monster/Lemon Demon is technically not listed in the official week title, making it a semi-secret encounter.
  • Winter Horrorland has the slowest BPM of any base-game song, but its eerie timing can confuse players used to faster tempos.
